About Serena
Serena is an Art Therapist (Masters Level), Painter and Art Teacher Artist: Colin
I offer a strong focus and love of materiality, experimentation and alchemy in making together/collaboration.
Through the process of making art, sound, writing, movement and grounding; values, feelings and needs can be explored.

Playfulness and joy can lead to unexpected ways of relating and being in the world. Together threads can be woven, pulled apart and repaired with heart centred listening and reflection in safe space to express.

Imagination and engaging with living creations, colours and the 'art studio' space as living rich source of nourishment and energy to transform, can offer hope and incubate future thinking/dreaming/inventiveness.

Working across painting studio practise, community arts and relational space of Art Therapy Serena’s practice seeks to value emergence, immediacy, shared authorship and the power of transformation in the arts.
With 20 years’ experience as an Artist the thread of arts for social change and equity runs through. With travels to India, remote Western Desert and Amsterdam these experiences in making art in diverse settings have shaped a human centred approach to Art Therapy.
